Student Registration

  • No student or pre-registration is required. Students may arrive on January 22, 2020 beginning at 10am at Penn Pavilion to pick up an event program and a badge holder. Your student ID badge will be used as your name badge. Networking will begin at 10am and run through 3pm. All levels of Pratt School of Engineering and Department Computer Science students are invited and encouraged to attend: BS, MEMP, MEng, MS, PhD.

TechConnect, an event hosted by the Duke University Pratt School of Engineering and the Department of Computer Science, with support from the Career Center, brings students and employers together for networking, education and connections.

At TechConnect, employers connect with Engineering and Computer Science students in an open, dynamic networking environment. Students come prepared with resumes to meet industry and tech representatives to learn about employment opportunities available, the characteristics employers seek as well as a realistic and insightful view of the job market and career paths for students interested in engineering and technical careers.

Students from all classes are welcome to visit with employer representatives, many of whom are Duke alumni. The venue provides an open and vibrant environment for information exchange. Many companies are able to identify talent for interviews and future employees and the event provides a great way for you to meet a large number of students seeking full-time and internship positions.

Our format of providing company-specific chat or meet-up areas offers students and employers an easy way to connect with engineering and CS students.
